Latest Release: C'est La Vie

RAUHBEIN have been around for over three years – and their rise has been meteoric: with their new album “Rebellen & Helden”, this loud and fast-paced band are building seamlessly on the rapid rise they’ve enjoyed in recent years.

Since releasing their first singles in 2021 and launching their live tour in 2022, the band led by frontman Henry has built up a steadily growing fanbase. Their first two albums, “Steh wieder auf” and “Herz eines Kriegers”, both reached number 20 in the German album charts. Their third album, “Adrenalin”, released in December 2024, marks their greatest success to date: number 10 in the official German album charts and further proof of the band’s dynamic development.

Musically, RAUHBEIN have significantly sharpened their profile with “Adrenalin” – more direct, more powerful and consistently geared towards live energy. With their explosive mix of German rock, folk and Celtic punk elements, honest lyrics and rousing shows, this is precisely where their greatest strength lies: whether as support for big names on the scene, at major festivals or on their own headline tours – RAUHBEIN deliver raw energy and maximum connection with the audience.

With “Rebels & Heroes”, due for release on 3 July 2026 via Perception – Powered by Reigning Phoenix Music, the band is taking things to the next level. An album tailor-made for summer – for festivals, long nights and a crowd that sings every line back.

At the heart of it all lies an attitude that is as simple as it is powerful: solidarity. For Henry, the roles of rebel and hero were never a contradiction, but always both at the same time. Today, however, his focus is increasingly on the responsibility to bring joy through his music and to bring people together. “We must stick together and support one another,” he says, describing the driving force behind the new songs – a credo that runs through the entire album.

In terms of content, “Rebellen & Helden” deliberately moves between personal stories and a social perspective. Henry prefers to write autobiographically, but is always inspired by what is happening around him. These are real stories, real emotions.

The songs create spaces where people can find themselves: with their own problems, memories and moments of happiness. Music as a mirror and an invitation to recognise oneself in it, whilst having fun.

The fact that RAUHBEIN also approach their work with a touch of humour is evident in moments such as the playful mix of languages in “Mein Kaff” or “C’est la vie”. And at the same time, the album features deeply intimate moments such as “Morgen Früh” – a song born from the quiet, exhausted moments after years on tour. Personal, vulnerable and yet full of optimism.

For Henry, music is above all one thing: a contribution to making the world a little more pleasant. An outlet when it helps to sort through emotions. An expression – as an artist and as a human being. And sometimes also a commentary, as long as it remains constructive.

The songs are made for moments when emotions aren’t a one-way street, but are allowed to unfold freely. “I hope people feel everything there is to feel across the board – and can take joy in their feelings or grow through them,” says Henry, describing the idea behind the album. That is precisely the crux of it: energy, intensity, thoughtfulness, intimacy and lightness do not exist separately here, but simultaneously.

Henry writes first and foremost for himself and secondly for people who seek companionship, are open-hearted and love to party. “Everyone’s welcome to start with… I’ll sort out the arseholes later,” he says, aptly summing up the balance between seriousness and humour.

“Rebellen & Helden” embodies everything RAUHBEIN stand for: energy, depth and an unbridled desire to bring these songs to life on stage. And that is exactly where they belong. As many of them as possible will find their way into the live set, because that is precisely what they were made for. What remains once you’ve listened to “Rebellen & Helden” from start to finish? Hopefully, the irrepressible urge to do it all over again straight away. When Henry looks back – at his own beginnings, at doubts, losses and the long road ahead – he addresses his younger self with precisely the words that also strike at the heart of “Rebellen & Helden”: “Mate… it’s going to be hard work getting to where you want to be; you’ll lose friends and very often doubt that it can work… but don’t worry, it’ll be a wild ride too; you’ll meet people who’ll walk with you and you’ll have the time of your life… so go for it!”
